The Virgin Islands Assistive Technology Foundation (VIATF) offers people with disabilities access to low-interest bank loans to help purchase assistive technology devices and services. Under the VIATF, the interest cost of the loan is significantly reduced through interest buy-down to a rate of 4%. We partner with Banco Popular in order to make these loans possible.
Minimum Loan Amount: $1,000.00
Maximum Loan Amount: $15,000.00
Program Eligibility: Any Virgin Islands Resident who has a disability and/or family member with a disability may apply for a loan. The applicant and/or his or her co-applicant must satisfy standard bank loan requirements, including the ability to repay the loan.
