Early Intervention

VIUCEDD understands the importance of identifying developmental difficulties as early as possible. That is why we offer programs that promote early intervention.

According to the CDC, “Research shows that early intervention treatment services can greatly improve a child’s development.” The majority of the early intervention work of the VIUCEDD is accomplished through its’ Autism and Developmental Disabilities Research Center (ADDRC).

A VIUCEDD staff member was the first CDC Act Early Ambassador to the US Virgin Islands.
